After many months of few in person events due to COVID-19 (including the 2020 Officer Installation), the 2021-2022 suite of officers were installed on June 12, 2021. Brother Thomas Mantopoulos was installed as the Worshipful Master of DeWitt Clinton Lodge in front of his family, friends and fellow Brothers.
Brother Mantopoulos also had some special guests in attendance, the family of Walter Uggerholt, a Past Master of Dewitt Clinton Lodge. Through their time in Free Masonry as well as at the Massachusetts National Cemetery (where Walter volunteered and Thomas works), the two had a very special bond. Unfortunately Walter passed away in early 2019, and wasn’t able to see Thomas make his way through the line to this day. Thomas has kept a close relationship with Walter’s family, and it was extra special to have them here for this occasion.
